Synagogue Entry Doors
The geometry is an exact copy of a door I saw in the Alcazar, an Islamic palace begun in the ninth century in Seville Spain. These doors commemorate Spain’s ‘Golden Age’, incorporating six and eight pointed stars, symbolizing Muslim/Jewish unity. For more on the story of these doors, click here. "Seeing Stars"
